Brain-based model represent the ‘new wave in AI computing’, a paradigm shift in the way intelligent applications can be designed and deployed in real-life applications. Recently, me and two colleagues have founded Neurala LLC, a startup focused in the development of a technology platform that enables programmers to write brain-based algorithms that exploit emerging, low-cost parallel hardware components (www.neurala.com).
